The eagles are very active now, with eaglet(s) in the nest, defending against other predators, and chasing away (returning?) juveniles.

Happy Friday, one and all!
Oh man, what a difference between your eagle shots and mine today! In yours, actual detail and drama! In mine, well, at least you could sort of see the speck had a white head! :) Thanks for posting these, I don't know if I'd ever seen a juveniles' coloring so distinctly. Happy SWF!
ReplyDeleteYou must have a great spot where you can see all the eagles. Your photos are great! We have a few eagles around here but they are very hard to locate sometimes. I sure don't know where any nest are. Thanks for sharing those magnificent birds. Have a wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures! I recently saw a juvenile in Magnolia by the water. I tried to take a picture, but they didn't turn out very good. I really enjoy your eagle updates.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots, Aerie-el! It is so neat that you get to see them daily!
ReplyDeleteHi Aerie-el! It looks like you almost don't need a TV there since you can watch all that action in the sky!
ReplyDeleteWow, how lucky you are to see a real eagle in the wild! I've never had the priviledge. The small wrought iron teacup planter was from Michael's, and the big one was from Wal-mart, go get 'em!
