Hi Aerie_el, Nice. At first glance I thought the photo was taken from an airplane looking down. Then I realized that only the "looking down" part was correct, but then maybe not because down is really up... but not really. I'm getting dizzy. Definitely a photo worth a thousand words. :)
Aerie_el, to answer your question about Knock Out roses, this is my first year with mine but a friend planted two of them when they first hit the market. One plant did exceedingly well, always in bloom, no foliar calamities. The other, planted in a completely different area, seemed to falter somewhat. Last I heard, it had recovered and is doing well. So far mine are everything I'd hoped. I wanted "permanent" color in this border and Knock Out, so far anyway, has not disappointed me. It's been blooming for about three weeks or so and the buds are aplenty. I'm fairly resistant to "trends" so it took me awhile to come around to this rose but so far, I'm pleased. Thank you for your comments.
Oh, how beautiful, Aerie_el!
