I LOVE your blog. I found you through the WW HQ. I like the same scene, different times. Your Red, White, and Green post reminds me of my WW for entry for today. Please stop by page and visit.
These are so nice, Aeriel-el. It's so much fun to play with the editing tools, isn't it? It's a beautiful picture without the editing...but in black the reflection looks amazing!
Karen, Thank you for stopping by and your kind words.
========== DNLee, Thanks! I've left you a comment on your blog too :)
========== Beth, I love when nature provides the best opportunities for taking photos. Thanks for stopping by and leaving your comment.
========== Jan, Thanks so much! I do love playing with photo editing, but no editing needed (except cropping) for these two shots. Of course, professional photographers undoubtedly can do this in their sleep, but I happened upon the photo technique by accident using black and white film (yes, 35mm Olympus, no digital then) back in Germany, and love it when it works out when done on purpose now.
I love shots like these of the same view at different times.

Great photos - very atmospheric
ReplyDeleteHow different a few hours make!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful in every light!
ReplyDeleteI love the reflections. Very nice pictures! Is the water still higher than usual or has it receded some?
ReplyDeleteWish I had your camera...the skills would be good too :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea for a photo essay...or rather a wordless photo essay, 'cuz they're worth 1000 words, right. I may just copy you! :)
