My daughter and I have been noticing the crows and other smaller birds chasing off hawks and eagles around here lately. They sure must be brave. I just saw that my red rhodie looks at about the same stage as your second picture.
Great action shots of the birds...esp. that Osprey. I always love seeing Bald Eagles. I just planted my first Snowflake this spring. It's so much bigger than Snowdrops!
Check out that blue sky! Great photos. It's always cool to spot an eagle.
