ICY WORDLESS WEDNESDAY

  1. Beautiful! Greetings from Ballard. Looks like you're north of the city--we didn't get that much snow. You mentioned hummers in your previous post. We have a pair of Anna's that overwinter in our garden. Stay warm.

  2. Thanks, Curmudgeon! I'm right near Maple Valley, sitting at about 500 feet elevation, so we see our fair share of snow. Ice is the worst though and with this storm the neighborhood streets, well they were good for skating, not so good for driving.
What fun for you to have hummers in your garden to enjoy year-round. They are too cute for words!

  4. Hi Anne,

    Glad you stopped by!
A little snow was nice but now I'm ready to be done with it, and would rather be enjoying winter weather vicariously thru other bloggers' photos :)

  5. Slick roads! We have lots of ice underneath our snow, and a crisp layer of ice on top of the snow after Saturday night's icy rain.

  6. Ice-snow-ice...you summed it up perfectly on your blog as the 'winter sandwich'!
Thanks for stopping by and for commenting,

  7. WOW. We lived three years in Eugene, Oregon and saw snow only once. The city waited for it to melt. Hope it stops and melts already for you.

  8. Hi Wayne,
We've really been 'under the weather' in the Pacific Northwest, shall we say? I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'll be glad to see rain again.
    Warm regards,

  9. Having lived in Eugene, I know how strange it would be to say that...

    Merry Christmas
