I hate those crab spiders. They kill pollinators by sneaking up on them when they're just doing what God made them to do. It's just infuriating. Sometimes I just don't understand nature. Lovely blossoms!
Great shot. I was reading Michael Pollen last night 'Botany of Desire'....where he was talking about different pollinators attracted to different types of blooms. Very interesting.
Beautiful photo! Thanks for stopping by my own blog! One of my sons lives in the Pacific northwest, and I envy the beautiful flowers that prosper in your mild summers. I look forward to exploring your blog further.

ReplyDeleteNice pic... but I don't like spiders.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot! This one scares me more than cicadas, ha ha! Happy WW!
ReplyDeleteI'll just overlook the spider and appreciate the beauty of the flower. :)

ReplyDeletethe flower is lovely...the bug not so much.

ReplyDeleteSuch extraordinary photos! While I'm sure it's mainly talent -- what camera are you using? I need to upgrade and am at a loss.
ReplyDeleteThen it is talent, as my semi-fancy Fuji doesn't cough up such startlingly clear and captivating shots!
